RIM Expected To Slide Against HTC In Smartphone Rankings

Market Intelligence Center has predicted HTC is on track to take the fourth spot in the list of largest smartphone manufacturers in 2012 jumping past Canada based Research In Motion.

It's widely understood the majority of HTC's growth it down to the Android platform with HTC being instrumental in helping to develop.

This news couldn't make RIM's year much worse as the company battle with expected drops in revenues for Q1 2011, anticipated job cuts and an 82% drop in share price.
