Nokia N9 MeeGo Flagship Phone Unveiled

The Nokia N9 has been unveiled today in Singapore, set to be the troubled Finnish companies new flagship smartphone and powered by MeeGo.  The device features an 'all-screen' design and what Nokia's branded 'One Swipe' which, according to the Nokia press release "introduces an innovative new design where the home key is replaced by a simple gesture: a swipe. Whenever you're in an application, swiping from the edge of the display takes you home."

The Nokia N9 features a NFC, 8MP camera - complete with Carl Zeiss lens, 64GB storage, 3.9 Inch AMOLED Display and 1GB RAM and will be available in three colors - black, cyan, and magenta with storage options of 16GB and 64GB.

The release date on the N9 has not yet been announced but Nokia have promised the new device will be available in stores later this year.

The company has also release cheaper devices C2-02, C2-03 and C2-06 running Symbian Series 40.
