Another unveiling last week in Singapore was the Huawei MediaPad. Announced as the worlds first 7 inch tablet to be running Android 3.2 (the final release of Android before Android Ice Cream Sandwich releases at the end of this year).
Huawei's Chief Marketing Officer said: "With the Huawei MediaPad, we are demonstrating yet again that design, functionality and performance is within anyone's reach. The 7-inch tablet remains the preferred size for portability and Android Honeycomb 3.2 is dedicated to enhance the full potential of 7-inch tablets. Huawei is very pleased to be the first to offer this package to consumers globally."
The MediaPad will come running a Qualcomm dual core 1.2GHz processor, Android Honeycomb 3.2 and will feature a 7 inch display, 5MP rear facing camera and 1080p HD video playback.

There's no word on a release date for the device nor a price but the device will be available globally which infers a release date of around late August or early September.
